The Diocese of West Missouri is thrilled to announce that St. Mary Magdalene in Belton has called the Rev. David Wilcox to be their next rector.
A native of Kansas City, Fr. David is a graduate of the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee and The University of Missouri-Kansas City. Fr. David joins St. Mary Magdalene after having served on the staff of The Diocese of West Missouri as the Missioner for Youth Ministry.
Fr. David and his husband Zach are excited to be walking with St. Mary Magdalene in their spiritual journey and live out the mission to proclaim God’s love.
All are welcome to join St. Mary Magdalene for worship on January 5, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. for Fr. David’s first Sunday with them.
