Dear Members of The Diocese of West Missouri,
As we look ahead to the coming months, The Diocese of West Missouri is beginning preparations for our participation in Pride events. Pride offers an opportunity for the diocese to affirm the dignity and full inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people, to share God’s love, and to embody our baptismal promise to respect the dignity of every human being.
We are opening the planning process and inviting voices from across the diocese to help shape our presence. We are seeking volunteers to offer insight, creativity, and wisdom as we discern the most faithful and effective ways to participate. Whether your experience is in event planning, outreach, liturgy, or ministry with LGBTQIA+ communities, your perspective is valued.
Our goal is to listen to one another and to the lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ Episcopalians and allies throughout West Missouri. Together, we hope to create spaces that are joyful, prayerful, and grounded in our shared faith.
