On February 15, The Diocese of West Missouri celebrated Absalom Jones with Bishop Amy Dafler Meaux as our celebrant and preacher!
Absalom Jones, the first black priest in The Episcopal Church, reminds us how we can continue to help shape a more faithful and inclusive Church. The Diocese of West Missouri gives thanks for his ministry and honors him by continuing the work of racial reconciliation and sharing God’s unconditional love in our communities.
