“Jesus tells us to love our neighbor as ourselves. With that great commandment, he is teaching us that we are all one, all part of God’s chosen people, and when we hate and revile each other, we are actually destroying ourselves.”  – Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe

In an Ash Wednesday letter to The Episcopal Church, Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe asked dioceses across the country to gather in prayer on Monday of Holy Week to lament the violence and division in our nation.

In response, The Diocese of West Missouri will offer a celebration of Holy Eucharist at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kansas City at 12:10 p.m. on Monday, March 30. This liturgy will provide time for us to come together in prayer as we seek peace and unity for the world.

All are invited to attend the service in person, or online. Please contact the diocesan office or St. Paul’s Episcopal Church if you have any questions about the service.
