Godly Play Core Training in Leavenworth
Godly Play Core Training is coming back! Join Barbara McCall, a licensed U.S. Trainer with the Godly Play Foundation, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Leavenworth, Kansas for this 3-day event.
Thursday, August 13

Friday, August 14

Saturday, August 15
9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (lunch & snacks included)
Not only is Core Training the “classic” training model from the Godly Play Foundation, but it provides leaders, program directors, clergy and parents the time to process and wonder about their own unique contextual situations and how Godly Play works for the specific children in their own circles. This 3-day “retreat style” event will include plenty of time to dig into the materials (“PLAY!”), explore the concepts and philosophies of the Godly Play method, network with other ministry professionals and volunteers, as well as time for devotions and spiritual rest and nourishment. This training is available to members of churches in the dioceses of Kansas and West Missouri for $125 (a 50% discount off the lowest Godly Play Foundation recommended rate for Core Trainings).
