We are still looking for two lay Diocesan Council nominees. This body is charged with conducting the work of the Annual Convention throughout the year and meets monthly. If you, or someone you know, are interested and right for this role, we strongly encourage you to apply.

All other nominees are currently listed on our site. You can review them now!

Voting / Bring a Device with Internet Access

If you’ve registered as a delegate or alternate, you must bring a device that can access the internet to vote. It is also strongly encouraged to NOT connect to the Convention Center’s Wi-Fi and to use your phone’s data plan, if possible. This will help reduce the load time for people who do not have data plans that need to be connected to the Wi-Fi to vote. This will also help us display presentations and documents smoothly throughout the day. Only connect to the Wi-Fi if your device cannot function without it.

ID information will be shared with all delegates ahead of Convention. Keep an eye on your email for more details.

Convention Materials

All Convention materials can be found on the 2026 Annual Convention page. A link to each item is also available below. We recommend that you download these items ahead of Convention to easily access them during our business session.

If you prefer a hard copy, we ask that you print any materials you need and bring to the Convention Center on Saturday.

Hotel Reservations

The diocese will NOT be providing blocks for hotel rooms this year. Rather, hotel accommodations will be the responsibility of each registrant. Head to our Convention page to find nearby hotels that we recommend. If you have any questions about reserving a hotel room, please contact Rachael Orth, Events Coordinator, for more information.

Parking, Drop off Lane, and Maps

Parking will be available at Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral and at the Kansas City Convention Center on November 6 & 7. A QR code will be distributed to all those registered for access to the Broadway parking garage during Convention weekend.

More information about parking, drop off lanes, and a map of the Convention Center can be found on the Kansas City Convention Center’s website.
