Ozarks Pridefest
We believe that all people are worthy of respect and honor because all are created in the image of God, and all can respond to the love of God. With pride coming up, we wanted to share some details about how you can get involved and what to expect.
Volunteering for Pride
We need volunteers to hand out literature, SWAG, and most importantly share God’s love with all we encounter. Head to our sign-up genius below or on the LGTBQIA+ ministries page to volunteer. We are also asking clergy to sign-up to pray and speak with the community. If you have any questions, please contact the Rev. Robin Rusconi at robinrusconi@yahoo.com.

Preparing for the Parade
The theme for the Ozarks Pridefest is ““Come One, Come All!” All are invited to paint signs and prepare SWAG materials based on this year’s theme. If you would like to be on the planning committee for the Pride Parade or have any questions about volunteer opportunities, please contact Donn & Lynette Harrison at donnharrison@gmail.com or lynetteharrison@hotmail.com.
We are also asking groups to host friendship bracelet making parties throughout the diocese. If your congregation would like to host one, please contact Rachel Decker at cowtownchick@gmail.com or download a copy of this flyer for more information.
Pride Mass and Parade
We will gather together at 10 a.m. on June 13 at Christ Episcopal Church in Springfield to pray, worship, and share the story of God’s love for all. After Mass, those who wish to march in the parade will walk from Christ Church to the Martin Luther King Jr. Historic Bridge to line-up. From there, we will march, wave and proclaim the love of God to all.
To help with the Mass, please contact Raja Reed at rajareed@gmail.com.
We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you! Let’s share with the world that God’s love knows no bounds.
