We are pleased to introduce Zachary Phillips, who joined the Diocesan Staff on April 18 in the three-quarter-time position as the Communications Assistant. Zachary will be responsible for assisting with website maintenance, email campaigns, social media, diocesan-wide events, and other events of interest to our members in West Missouri.
Zachary Phillips was born and raised in Seneca, Kansas where he attended Nemaha Valley High School.
Throughout high school, Zach enjoyed performing in the school theater and competing in drama and speech competitions.
After high school, he attended Kansas State University where he got his bachelor’s degree in mass communications. Once he graduated, he moved to Kansas City where he began working as a marketing coordinator for a speaker manufacturing company, then went on to work as a digital strategist for a marketing agency.
In his free time, Zach enjoys taking walks with his husband, David and their dog, Ollie. He also enjoys playing video and board games with his friends, watching Marvel films, and cooking new dishes.
