St. Peter’s Episcopal Day School, a preschool for children 2 to 5 years old in south Kansas City, is accepting applications for a pre-K teacher’s position.
The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Duties include:
- Creating a safe and structured space for children
- Communicating with parents
- Preparing daily lesson plans
- Maintaining the classroom
St. Peter’s EPiscopal Day School is a small school of 4 teachers, so working as a team player is mandatory. They offer paid-time off, a paid vacation week at Christmas, and a retirement savings plan. Starting compensation is $15 per hour with a $750 bonus after a 90-day positive performance review by the Director.
