A Kansas City native, Fr. David earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and a Master of Divinity from the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. He began his ministry as Rector of St. Mary Magdalene in January 2025 after serving on the Diocesan staff as Missioner for Youth Ministry.
Beyond his deanery and parish responsibilities, Fr. David serves as Convener of the Diocesan Spiritual Formation Commission, and a member of the College and Young Adult Commission. He is passionate about the Gospel, formation, coffee, history, little-known (and less cared about) information. He lives in Belton with his husband, Zach, and their dogs, Ollie and Pixie.
