The LGBTQ+ Committee is looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join The Diocese of West Missouri’s LGBTQ+ ministry team. This committee will play a vital role in fostering inclusion, creating safe spaces, and supporting LGBTQ+ individuals within our diocese and the greater community. Individuals from all walks of life, backgrounds and experiences who are eager to make a positive impact are welcome.
The LGBTQ+ Committee is looking for:
- Clergy and lay volunteers committed to supporting and advocating for LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion.
- Ideas for programs, events, and initiatives that promote understanding and visibility.
- Willingness to collaborate with others in the church and broader community.
- Organize, network, and make Pride Fest a great success.
