The goal of the Cursillo Ministry is to change the world for Christ – to create “authentic disciples,” Christians empowered by a vision for apostolic action and strengthened through prayer, sacraments, study and community. This goal links directly to the Presiding Bishop’s invitation to all Episcopalians to become more and more Christ-centered followers of Jesus – that is, disciples who are deeply in love with and changed by Jesus – and then to welcome others into loving, liberating and life-giving relationship with God, with each other and with creation.
The Heartland Secretariat Board serves with prayerful hearts and faithful commitment to the ministry of Cursillo within the Diocese of Kansas and West Missouri. Guided by the Holy Spirit, the Board nurtures spiritual growth, strengthens Christian community, and supports renewal throughout our diocese. Through collaboration and servant leadership, the Secretariat stewards the mission of Heartland Cursillo and encourages all to deepen their walk with Christ.
