Centering Prayer Workshop
Centering Prayer, a form of Christian meditation, is drawn from an ancient form of Christian prayer. This kind of prayer is a method of consenting to the presence and gracious action of Christ in the stillness of our being. Anyone desiring to deepen their prayer life will benefit.
We will be hosting a simple introduction to Centering Prayer on June 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The format, facilitated by the Rev. Rita Kendagor, will include presentations, discussion, and opportunities to practice Centering Prayer.
All are welcome to join and experience this ancient form of worship. The cost is $20 for supplies. Lunch will be provided.
“The Father spoke one Word, which was His Son, and this Word He speaks always in eternal silence, and in silence must it be heard by the soul” – St. John of the Cross
