Christmas in July: Shop Local and Support Local Kids

Join Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd for “Christmas in July,” a festive summer craft fair featuring over 25 vendors, a delicious bake sale, and even a massage therapist on-site from 1–3 p.m.! This fun-filled event isn’t just about shopping—it’s about making a real difference.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Backpack Shepherds program, a partnership between Church of the Good Shepherd and Bethel United Church of Christ. Together, they support the Harvester’s Backsnack Program, a Feeding America initiative providing weekend food for elementary school children facing food insecurity.

This past school year, they served 51 students identified by local schools and also helped stock the student pantry at Winnetonka High School. In Kansas City, 1 in 6 children are at risk of hunger, and with grocery prices projected to rise by 3.3% in 2025, the need is growing.

So come shop, snack, relax, and support a vital mission in the community.
