Kintsugi Workshop

Ready to make art? Join the Access for All God’s Children Committee for Kintsugi, the Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold, on May 9 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church!

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold. This spiritual practice rooted in 15th century Japan is brought to life today to honor our cracks and healing together as the Body of Christ. It is a spirit-filled metaphor using visible gold seams to celebrate the repair, resilience and beauty of our brokenness rather than hiding our imperfections.

Fellowship and snacks will be provided. There is no charge for this workshop. If you’re interested, please email Margie Gray at margiegray24@gmail.com.

  • Time : 11:00 am - 2:30 pm (America/Chicago)
