The Diocese of West Missouri is pleased to announce that the Rev. Ryan Williams will be installed as the new rector of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Joplin on October 27 at 4 p.m. The Rev. Ryan Williams appointment will be effective beginning October 1.

Fr. Williams is an alumnus of Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, and holds a degree from Duke Divinity School. Additionally, he has earned a certificate of Anglican Studies from the Bishop Kemper School of Ministry. He most recently served as the long-term supply priest for both St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Bolivar and St. Thomas a’ Becket Episcopal Church in Cassville.
Fr. Williams is married to Anna, and they are blessed with two children: John Mark, aged 8, and Eleanor, aged 2.
