Calling all West MO folks! Moms Demand Action is inviting you to Advocacy Day in Jefferson City at Missouri State Capitol (201 W Capitol Ave, Jefferson City, MO 65101) on Tuesday, April 1 to take action on common sense gun laws.

You can join one of two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, as members across the state gather to advocate for gun safety. We will hear from lawmakers, and learn about how to effectively talk to both friendly and unfriendly lawmakers to ask for Missouri to pass common sense gun laws. A schedule for each of the sessions are below.

Morning Session
8:45 a.m. – 1 p.m.

8:45 a.m. – Check-in at the Millbottom
9 – 10 a.m. – Lawmaker meetings
10 a.m. – View legislative session
11:30 a.m. – Prayer on Capitol steps
Noon – Group photo
12:15 – 1 p.m. – Snacks and presentations

Afternoon Session
11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

11:30 a.m. – Prayer on Capitol steps
Noon – Group photo
12:15 – 1 p.m. – Snacks and presentations
1 p.m. – View legislative session
2 – 4 p.m. – Lawmaker meetings
4 p.m. – Clean up and tear down

You can RSVP to participate at the link below. RSVPing will let organizers know how many to expect, and allow them to help create groups of those who live near each other.
