Aside from being the assistant treasurer, Tom has served as president, as well as treasurer, of St. Luke’s Bishop Spencer Place (BSP) retirement community where he has been involved in raising funds for a state-of-the-art memory care community at BSP. He currently serves on the boards of both Swope Health Kansas City and PACE KC and is finance chair for both organizations.
Tom grew up in Kansas City and attended Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri where he graduated with honors. He began and ended his professional finance career at Commerce Bank in Kansas City, finishing his career as the retired division manager for the Commerce Bank Capital Markets Group. In between, Tom was a senior trading manager for two Federal Reserve designated primary dealers in U.S. treasury debt.
Tom has been a lifelong member of St. Andrews Church in Kansas City and has served on the vestry. He is married, enjoys his time at the Lake of the Ozarks, and is a runner in his free time.
