Miranda Cully is Rector at the Church of the Redeemer, Kansas City. She grew up in the Arkansas Ozarks. Before seminary, she completed a Master’s in Southern Studies at The University of Mississippi where wrote her thesis entitled Hooray for Prohibition!: The Women’s Christian Temperance Movement in Mississippi. She completed her M. Div. at Emory University in 2012 and has been on staff at an Episcopal church or school ever since. As a priest and cancer survivor, her life passion is journeying alongside others as they discover abundant life in Christ.
A few of her favorite things include novels, the outdoors, flea markets, quiet mornings, cats, the Enneagram, a tasty meal, and adventures around the globe with her wonderful husband Brian.
