As the diocesan archivist, Fr. Chandler Jackson is charged with the maintenance of the materials entrusted to the Archives of The Diocese of West Missouri. In addition to adding new materials submitted to the archives, Fr. Jackson is in the process of completing a detailed inventory of the collection.
Fr. Jackson is also the priest in charge of St. Matthew’s in Ozark, Missouri and serves as the dean of the Southern Deanery. Prior to ordination to the priesthood, Fr. Jackson worked for 30 years in higher education as an academic librarian and professor of history and research methods. He holds an MSLS from the University of North Texas and an MA in History with Archival Administration certification from the University of Texas at Arlington. He earned a certificate in Presbyteral Studies at the Bishop Kemper School for Ministry. He lives in Springfield, Missouri.
