This is a friendly reminder to plan ahead for your parish and homes as the weather forecasts are calling for below freezing temperatures and snow over the weekend. Here are some ways you can help protect your parish from the weather:
- Wrap/insulate pipes
- Drip faucets
- Turn off, cover and drain outside water faucets
- Locate main water valve and tools needed to turn the water off in case of a burst pipe
- Warm pipes by opening cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom
