With Raytown only a few minutes away from the Kansas City Stadium, faith leaders in Raytown have been meeting with the Raytown Chamber of Commerce for over a year to help plan and welcome visitors for the World Cup event. As part of their welcoming program, the Chamber has posted an online directory of all the churches in the Raytown area, inlcuding St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, with their worship times and other services. Special flags and banners have been displayed throughout the city and include yard signs in the shape of soccer balls welcoming guests in English on one side and Spanish on the other. St Matthew’s sign is posted in front of the Chamber on Raytown Trafficway, a main route traveled to the Stadium.

All are invited to attend St. Matthew’s Episcopal in Raytown, and we welcome all who are joining us for the World Cup in Kansas City.
