On Saturday, December 3, St. Peter’s in Harrisonville celebrated “Christmas on the Square” with the local community. This festive, family-friendly celebration was free and open to the public, welcoming visitors with treats and crafts for children, opportunities to write letters to Santa, and chances to visit with Santa Claus and the Grinch. Local shops stayed open throughout the evening, offering special promotions, meals, and drink specials.
Guests also got to enjoy experiences like a horse-drawn carriage ride and a live Nativity scene. Finally, The Harrisonville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual chili supper, along with a Basket Fundraiser featuring donations from local businesses. Christmas on the Square brings the community together to celebrate the season while supporting local shops and organizations.
