The Diocese of West Missouri held its 135th Annual Convention on November 8 and 9, 2024 at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral. Delegates across the diocese got to gather to elect and vote on positions, different resolutions, and our next bishop! Take a look through to see some of the results and highlights at this year’s Convention.
The Very Rev. Amy Dafler Meaux Elected Bishop
The Very Rev. Amy Dafler Meaux has been elected the IX Bishop of The Diocese of West Missouri! Amy, who is the dean and rector of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock, Arkansas, was elected on the first ballot during Saturday’s Convention. Amy has served parishes in New Orleans, Dallas, and Danville, Kentucky, and holds degrees from Louisiana Scholars’ College and Seminary of the Southwest.
We are looking forward to this exciting chapter in ministry with Amy, and can’t wait to see what the Holy Spirit has in store for The Diocese of West Missouri.
