The Diocese of West Missouri was excited to join the Joplin Pridefest celebration, held September 5–7, 2025. This event brought together the LGBTQIA+ community, allies, and neighbors to celebrate love, inclusion, and belonging.
Throughout the weekend, Pridefest offered a wide variety of opportunities for connection—from the Pride Rally and Social on Friday evening to Saturday’s lively Street Festival full of vendors, music, and community, and Sunday’s Pride Breakfast at Landreth Park.
The diocese hosted a booth during the festival, where we had the chance to meet people, share conversation, and show God’s love through and support. We are grateful to walk alongside the LGBTQIA+ community in Joplin and beyond, and we look forward to future celebrations of Pride.
