We had a great meeting during the Youth Ministry Virtual Open House. Highlights were diving into details for upcoming events and helpful input to create a more user-friendly website…for you and yours!
Those upcoming events include MEGA CAMP that begins on June 1! We have a great contingency from WEMO going this year. Clare and I will be visiting there on Monday, June 2 so if you have anything you’d like us to deliver for your kiddos, please let me know! Please add your prayers to mine (and your parish list)Â that they will have a safe journey and experience God through the peace of relaxation, the joy of fellowship, and the boundless, amazing beauty of nature!
Kansas Happening is June 27-29 in Elmsdale, KS. I sound like a broken record, but WEMO youth who attend can build up our pool of Happening staffers for when we host again in early 2026!

A portion of your evening on Wednesday, August 20 to join a virtual “Back-to-School” opportunity for youth leaders, adult volunteers, parents, and clergy to meet online with the diocesan team (a.k.a. YMC members and hopefully the new Coordinator. Beginning at 7 p.m., this will be a short 30-minute chance to talk about ways we can support each other, upcoming events and engage volunteers. We hope this will give individual churches an opportunity to tag on with a coinciding youth evening agenda!

Plans are in the works for a Friday/Saturday Diocesan Convention Youth Gathering November 7-8 in Kansas City…and another date for the calendar. An adult Happy Hour might just be happening, too….just another opportunity to network, spread the word and enjoy each other’s company!
