Kim Snodgrass, Interim Missioner for Youth Ministry, is keeping the diocese busy with youth events and other related news. Please check out the updates below and see how you and your youth can get involved.
A Virtual Open House on Tuesday, May 20 will kick off the summer season!
Please extend a personal, verbal invitation to welcome and encourage guardians, current and perspective volunteers to get involved. Click here to register!

Mega Camp – June 1-7 is a week of fellowship, fun…and it’s not too late for youth to sign up! Please spread the word and keep in mind, scholarships are available!

Kansas Happening– Right on the heels of camp, June 27-29, youth are encouraged to attend Happening in Elmsdale, KS. WEMO youth who attend will help us build up our pool of future Happening staffers for when we host again in early 2026!

MissionPalooza – We’re geared up for a great turnout July 15-20 at St. Paul’s in Kansas City with a terrific line up of volunteer opportunities the youth are going to love! Registration is online and volunteer’s are needed.

Plan ahead to join a virtual “Back-to-School” opportunity on August 20th at 7 pm. Youth leaders, adult volunteers, parents, and clergy are invited to meet online with the diocesan team (a.k.a. YMC members and hopefully the new Coordinator for a short 30-minute chance to talk about ways we can offer each other support and plans for upcoming events. We hope individual churches tag on with a coinciding youth evening agenda!

Add the first Youth Gathering with Bishop Amy on the afternoon of Sunday, September 7th at St. Paul’s, Clinton to your calendars! Youth, families and volunteers look forward to welcoming the Bishop Amy Meaux-mobile with picnic foods and more!
