As Executive Assistant to the Bishop in the Diocese of West Missouri, Emily’s primary responsibility is to support the bishop. She enjoys helping to maintain an open conduit between the diocese and the bishop through correspondence and scheduling appointments. Additional tasks include Sunday visitation coordination, collecting Vestry/Bishop’s Committee Rosters and Slates of Delegates, assisting the Commission on Ministry with lay licensing and those in the discernment process, coordinating meetings and data for leadership groups, and maintaining the diocesan database.
Emily joined the diocese in December of 2013, after working at St. Andrew’s in Kansas City for twelve years. When not working, she loves to spend time with her husband, Bryan, watching movies, going to concerts, setting sail on cruises, and “play”ing in community theatre. Her greatest aspiration is to be the best wife, mom and lolli she can be.
