Juneteenth Kansas City Tour
On Monday, June 10, The Diocese of West Missouri will have a Juneteenth Celebration! People are invited to join us for a tour around Kansas City to visit black historical landmarks.
The group will plan to meet at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral at 9 a.m., with the bus scheduled to leave at 9:30 a.m. From there, we will stop by three landmarks. Afterwards, the group will return and have a late lunch in Founder’s Hall. The cost is $15 per person for lunch.

Other Juneteenth Events
St. Joseph, Missouri will also be hosting a Juneteenth celebration on June 16 and 18 at the St. Joseph museum.
June 16: Juneteenth Picnic | 1 p.m.
Enjoy a picnic with the local community. There will be bounce houses, a petting zoo, pades and dominoes tournament, and live music by the Gospel Choir and Sherri Brown.
June 18: Juneteenth Gala| 5:30 p.m.
Attend a gala in honor of Juneteeth.
