St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church welcomes all to join them for Summer Taizé. This form of worship focuses on meditation and singing several short songs in between times of silence.
Taizé prayer is the creation of a monastic community in Taizé, France, founded in the 1940s by a Swiss man known as Brother Roger. The brothers there emphasize service and ecumenicalism, particularly reconciliation between divided peoples and divided Christians. Prayer and meditation are at the heart of the Taizé experience.
